Senior Learning and Development Consultant
Responsible for the development and implementation of learning and development processes and programs. This role will:
~Establish and maintain relationships with business units to support achievement of strategic business objectives through delivery of appropriate learning and development solutions.
~Design and deliver soft skills, management and leadership, and business skills development programs for all levels of CNB colleagues using various learning delivery methods.
~Define learning strategies and design talent development programs that include assessments, curricula, experiential learning and evaluative metrics.
~Manage vendor relationships and multiple learning and development projects simultaneously.
~Assess, design, and implement training programs in alignment with client needs and corporate direction. Prepare analysis to report ROI of learning opportunities to the organization. Make recommendations for improving colleague performance and determine the required program or interventions. Understand and develop evaluation tools that measure impact and effectiveness of learning and development programs. Ensure that learning and development programs achieve established project goals, quality standards, and legal requirements.
~Provide consultation to enhance the effectiveness of managers and teams to increase productivity and colleague/client satisfaction. Assess critical business issues and design strategic organizational learning and development plans which enhance company performance. Facilitate design and implementation of organizational change efforts. Advise on team design and performance. Coach managers to enhance management and leadership skills.
~Manage learning environment and facilitate development and delivery of learning opportunities using classroom, live-and-online, self-paced e-learning, and blended learning methodologies. Understand and apply state-of-the-art adult learning theory. Keep current with latest organizational and individual behavioral research and learning delivery technologies.
~Manage projects including the development and oversight of project design plans, implementation plans, and on-going continuous improvement plans. Represent CNB as a prime contact on projects. Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination and support between organizations. Manage external vendors and contractors. Monitor project schedules and resolves project related issues appropriately.
~Analyze and evaluate the knowledge and skill requirements of jobs, tasks and roles. Develop competency and capability models for a variety of roles across the organization. Consult with other areas of Human Resources such as Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners and Compensation to ensure integrated HR solutions and commonality of purpose.

Bachelor's degree and seven years learning and organization development experience.
Or a Master's degree with five years of learning and organization development experience.
Skills and Knowledge
~Must be experienced in designing, delivering, and evaluating the effectiveness of organizational development and learning programs.
~Ability to interact effectively with all levels of Bank colleagues, Subject Matter Experts, contractors, and third-party vendors. Communicate effectively and skillfully in both oral and written form.
~Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Lectora or Captivate.
~Able to apply professional experience and learning theory in practical field applications. Adopts concepts to create practical and effective learning opportunities. Has an in-depth understanding of the role that organizational learning and development plays for individual, team, and organizational performance.
~Possesses demonstrated ability in needs assessment, objective setting, and evaluation/measurement of learning opportunities. Has strong presentation skills and can adapt style as appropriate to audience and delivery method.
