Fair and Responsible Banking Emerging Risk Manager
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Fair and Responsible Banking (FRB) Emerging Risk Manager is responsible for CNB's is responsible for risk management and compliance oversight applicable fair lending and UDAAP related laws and regulations as part of the Fair and Responsible Banking Team. This position will manage the regulatory change management process and assessment of impact of industry developments related to FRB to CNB. A successful candidate with develop a process and relationships to engage with second line of defense regulatory change team, as well line of business partners in ensuring successful implementation of new or changed regulations, including the 1071 regulatory change activities.

Compliance Risk Management Division

What you will do
- Develop process to partner with the 2LOD regulatory change team to identify applicable and appropriate regulatory changes that require FRB team involvement and oversight.
- Collaborate across lines of business, interact with senior management and present before various committees and working groups.
- Analyze industry developments, such as regulatory issuances, public reports, and media coverage for fair and responsible banking events.
- As necessary, identify and document control enhancement opportunities and recommend FRB Program updates based on best practices.
- Provide stakeholders with advisory services on regulatory change management system as the program subject matter expert.
- Track regulatory readiness across applicable units.
- Ensure timely assessment of regulatory changes by business units and track regulatory readiness as assessed by business units.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of applicable regulatory compliance laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance.
- Develop deep understanding and subject matter expertise related to 1071 and CRA regulatory changes to assist appliable lines of businesses in the oversight of their implementation activities.
- Assist other teams in FRB group, as needed, including but not limited to enhancements to the risk assessment process, control documentation and streamlining of controls and processes.
- May be involved in specialized Fair Lending, CRA or UDAAP reviews; prior experience with reviews is preferred.
- Experience communicating and interacting with regulatory agencies, including exam management and other regulatory affairs
- Experience as a Certified Compliance Risk Manager (CRCM)
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree Banking, Finance
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in banking, compliance, regulatory change management or risk assessment
- Minimum 5 years experience with managing projects or processes
- Minimum 5 years of experience using regulatory change management systems or assessing regulatory changes
Skills and Knowledge

- Working knowledge of bank technology and systems.

- Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Ability to perform functional duties and related positions with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal/customer service skills; broad knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and provide guidance, makes recommendations, and/or escalates the issues to appropriate level of management.
- Ability to multi-task and switch gears to work on special projects.
- Exceptional PC skills required, including all Microsoft Office applications.
Compensation
Starting base salary: $111,408 - $189,738 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
