MANAGER FAIR LENDING
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Manager of Fair Lending Analytics is tasked with developing and maintaining CNB's Fair Lending analytics program, ensuring that appropriate Fair Lending statistical and qualitative analyses are conducted timely to mitigate fair lending risk across various lines of business. This role, specifically, is responsible for developing a risk-based approach to fair lending analytics and establishing processes and procedures to perform periodic analysis of various Lines of businesses within the Bank to ensure compliance with Fair Lending related laws and regulations, including Fair Housing Act (FHA) and Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA). Additionally, this role will partner with model risk management teams in an effort to implement appropriate fair lending controls.

Compliance Risk Management Division

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Supervise a team of fair lending analysts responsible for conducting Fair Lending statistical and non-statistical reviews and analyses.
- Manage the process for extracting reliable and verified data from internal systems.
- Prepare comprehensive FL reporting and present to appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate team member participation for the cyclical fair lending regulatory examination.
- Provide guidance to First LOD on appropriate quantitative self-monitoring processes to mitigate Fair Lending/UDAAP risk.
- Review and document procedures to ensure secure maintenance and quality of records. Maintain understanding of status and document changes to regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate and develop policies and procedures designed to ensure the highest level of ethical conduct.
- Work collaboratively with all departments by providing compliance guidance and direction for continued best practices.
- Maintain proficiency in software tools necessary to complete requisite analysis and collaborate with software vendors as needed.
- Comply fully with all Bank Compliance policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
- Complete all required training.
- Experience communicating and interacting with regulatory agencies, including exam management and other regulatory affairs
- Experience as a Certified Compliance Risk Manager (CRCM)
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Must-Have
- Minimum 10 years experience working with Fair Lending related laws and regulations.
- Minimum 5 years in a banking or lending environment.
- Minimum 5 years in statistical data analysis, with a focus in Fair Lending.
Skills and Knowledge
- A degree in statistics or a similar discipline is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of fair lending and banking compliance laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in analyzing diverse business functions and processes to identify key risks and demonstrated success with implementing control improvement recommendations.
- Ability to interact with federal regulatory agencies.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of an organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills and be accustomed to working with deadlines.
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and/or Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) designation a plus.
- Minimum 3 years management experience preferred.
Compensation
Starting base salary: $122,535 - $208,715 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
