Sr. Project Lead, Customer Data and Privacy

Overview

The Customer Data and Privacy Lead role will provide leadership on Customer data privacy and the usage of Customer data within the Marketing department and across the enterprise. The role will be responsible for ensuring the effective stewardship of Customer data by stakeholders and compliance with privacy law.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Legal, Information Technology, and Enterprise Analytics to ensure Customer data is managed and governed effectively
  • Develop and refine a forward-looking customer privacy and protection strategy that aligns policies and processes to support business objectives.
  • Establish and oversee Customer data privacy management program including subject rights request (SRR) process
  • Serve as Marketing's subject matter expert on the flow of customer data across our technologies
  • Track, audit, and monitor vendor/partner usage of Chick-fil-A Customer data
  • Partner with Customer Technology & Insights product leads to ensure existing and new systems meet privacy law operational requirements
  • Partner with key Marketing stakeholders to drive alignment between Marketing activities and privacy regulations, and help to identify opportunities to drive value with Customer data
  • Partner with Customer & Market Insights to establish effective tag management and naming taxanomy for Customer data


Minimum Qualifications

  • 3.2 GPA minimum
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, MIS, Decision Sciences, Engineering, Business Analytics, Computer Science or other similar fields
  • 3-5 years experience in data security, cybersecurity, or data governance
  • Experience in building or operating data protection and privacy programs
  • Familiarity with U.S. and international data protection laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Highly collaborative with ability to build strong relationships and results oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Attentiveness to details with the ability to understand the business context
  • Ability to learn things quickly and work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficiency in data related tools and applications


Preferred Qualifications

  • Restaurant and food service experience
  • Experience in medium to large size organizations with cross functional teams
  • Proficiency in Tableau
  • Proficiency in SQL, Alteryx, or other data related software
