Sr. Lead Data Governance

Overview

The Supply Chain Data Governance Senior Lead ensures the reliability of Supply Chain data by working with internal and external partners to define stewardship roles, implement and manage standards, processes and technology supporting data quality, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

This data is key in providing all Supply Chain functions the timely, quality information and applied analysis they need for business decisions supporting Chick-fil-A Restaurant Operators.

Chick-fil-A Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring that Chick-fil-A Restaurants receive safe and reliable product in a manner that flows as seamlessly with Restaurant Operations as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Understand Supply Chain business processes and data needs
  • Perform data integrity gap analysis to understand and prioritize data governance needs for Supply Chain
  • Work with Supply Chain business teams and partners to develop data standards and measurements and incorporate data standards into contracts
  • Work with Supply Chain business teams, Information Technology, and Enterprise Analytics groups to implement the data governance framework for Supply Chain data
  • Work with Information Technology and Enterprise Analytics groups to implement and manage data governance tools for Supply Chain data assets
  • Manage the data relationship between Supply Chain and partners through:
    • Developing measurements to quantitatively assess the quality of Supply Chain data that enable the ability to monitor and report on data quality and incidents
    • Presenting analysis and recommendations to improve data quality and capabilities to key business stakeholders to remediate data incidents
  • Provide data access and management guidance to Supply Chain Analytics and business team members


Minimum Qualifications

  • 3.2 GPA minimum
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, MIS, Decision Sciences, Engineering, Business Analytics, Computer Science or other similar fields
  • 3-5 years of data governance experience
  • Strong understanding of databases and data structures
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Attentiveness to details with the ability to understand the business context
  • Ability to learn things quickly and work independently
  • Ability to communicate your results effectively to others, to drive issues to closure
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficiency in data governance tool applications


Preferred Qualifications

  • Supply chain and/or analytics experience with focus on, managing projects, critical reasoning, quantitative and process analysis
  • Proficiency in SQL, Alteryx and Tableau preferred
