2019 Real Estate Strategy Summer Intern

Overview

Restaurant Development Strategy & Analytics exists to influence the best decisions for Restaurant Development and the greater good of the Chick-fil-A Business. Strategy & Analytics is comprised of four sub-departments: Market Strategy, which informs strategic decisions through market knowledge and location analytics; Customer Intelligence, which gathers and communicates restaurant-level customer data; Enterprise GIS, which leverages technology to spatially analyze relevant data across the Organization; and Budget & Planning, which stewards the Restaurant Development budget and planning process.

Responsibilities

The 2019 Real Estate Strategy Intern will gain exposure to the work of all four sub-departments of Restaurant Development Strategy & Analytics, with a primary focus on Market Strategy and Enterprise GIS. Projects to include: in-field market assessment & analysis of potential & existing CFA locations, sales forecasts & cannibalization analysis for new restaurant locations, and ad hoc Excel-based data analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student, returning to school Fall 2019
  • Demonstrates character, chemistry, competence
  • Detail-orientation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Coursework in Real Estate, Geography, &/or GIS


Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of or previous exposure to Geographic Information Systems
