Accounts Payable Coordinator

This position is responsible for processing accounts payable transactions across several Ricketts-owned companies (e.g., Greystone, Hickory Street Capital, and Northside Entertainment Holdings) so that authorized disbursements are processed, recorded and reported on a timely basis. Ensure that the accounts payable processes follow company policies, procedures, systems and controls.


  • To process payments to vendors and employees accurately and timely according to the organization's current policies
  • To maintain invoice work flow queues to a current level as defined by manager
  • Maintain in depth understanding of active workflow rules in Payable System in order to identify potential routing, workflow, and efficiency improvements to advance end user experience of system
  • Verify receipts for all employee expense reports, process them within 1 business day, and ensure they are in compliance with the current - Travel and Entertainment Policy
  • Review and analyze vendor statements, reconciling outstanding charges and credits
  • Monitor and respond to all company accounts payable e-mail inquiries
  • Generate monthly reporting to payroll for assessing taxable income to employees
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices and payments
  • Comply with external audit requests with regards to accounts payable
  • Process and maintain all vendor paperwork for organization inclusive of entering information into payable system and filing
  • Administer new hire training for Payables System
  • Assist in the generation of the annual government payable reporting
  • Analyze and review all Accounts Payable Outstanding items for escheatment or re-issue of payment, as well as minimizing aged payables
  • Administrative tasks as needed, including but not limited to processing credit applications, scanning forms and mail sorting


  • Bachelor's degree in a business major, or currently pursuing such degree
  • Previous corporate work experience (either an internship or full time position)
  • advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills


  • Experience with electronic workflow of A/P Systems
