Our Opportunity:
Chewy seeks a highly motivated, analytical, and enthusiastic Senior Financial Analyst to join our rapidly growing Commercial Finance Consumables team, in our Bellevue, WA headquarters. Combining an understanding of finance, practical knowledge of financial statements, and using data to make-and-drive decisions, this candidate will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to support key strategic decisions, drive Chewy Consumables' growth, and ensure financial objectives are achieved. The role will focus on vendor rebates in which the candidate will help ensure we maximize the value we receive from our vendor partners.
What You'll Do:
- Perform modeling and analytics required to synthesize large sets of data and produce concise outputs to convey recommendations and/or conclusions to leadership
- Aid in the reporting and financial performance management frameworks for the business and help define key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performance
- Work cross-functionally with the broader Chewy finance team, the Chewy Consumables Merchandising Team, product team, marketing, supply chain, and accounting to fully understand the business, its customers, and overall operations
- Actively participate in the strategic planning, target setting, and annual planning processes
- Help maximize cash flow by advising merchant partners on optimal rebate contract structures
- Effectively manage numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced environment

What You'll Need:
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Management
- 2-3 years relevant finance experience with a basic understanding of GAAP and grasp of financial statements
- Financial analysis and modeling skills, and experience in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Advanced Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to think creatively, be a self-starter, work independently, deal with ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines / prioritize changing workloads
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Bonus:
- Experience with SQL coding, Hyperion Smartview, Tableau, Oracle ERP or Project Management skills
Compensation & Benefits:
Our pay range for a Senior Financial Analyst position is $87,000.00 - $130,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
