  • Leading and participating in China new business project.
  • Manage all plant Capex project include engineering design, review, cost and schedule control and project execution
  • Conduct project feasibility study, cost estimate and set up project plan.
  • Provide project management expertise and ensure that the projects are delivered on-time, within budget and within the scope.

- Manage the scope changes when required.
- Report progress of the projects.
  • Manage the vendors & contractors on site, analyse the potential risk and recommend mitigation plans for identified problems in construction, including safety, quality, schedule, cost, etc.
  • Co-work and collaborate with people from cross-functional dept. to ensure required resources and support obtained for successful delivery of new installation of assembly or workshop.
  • Project execution/Coordination :

    • Coordinate on overall capex project execution including Project Capex and plant Capex.
    • Ensure the project execution fully comply with Chevron OE guidance and local regulations.
    • Provide training and day to day coaching and supervision to 3rd party contractors and subcontractors.
    • Identify risks and opportunity for improvement throughout the project execution.
    • Review and issue high risk tasks on daily basis and ensure an incident free construction in the plant.
    • Lead investigation of any incident occurred and report out to management and ensure the solutions’ implementation.
    • Keep close track of progress of the project, provides regular update on schedule, construction quality, cost.
    • Coordinate and communication with internal and external stakeholders such as plant operations team and suppliers on facility modification and switch over.
    • Ensure the simultaneous operations are well planned, communicated and executed at site.
    • Coordinate with local government and external interested parties to apply required applications, permits, assessment and other related reports.
    • Conduct regular review Meeting with project Management Company and contractors together with project manager and do follow up actions timely.
    • Support in the setup of preventive management system and their implementation
    • Conduct equipment breakdown repair, trouble shooting, equipment modification and OEE improvement.
    • Actively participate in the setup and implementation of OE processes including CHESM, CMMS and SWP etc, and providing engineering support/advices to other processes as required.
    • Ensure all maintenance works are conduct safely and in compliance with applicable OE processes
    • Any other task assigned by supervisor

    Job Requirement:

    • Bachelor’s degree or above
    • Major in engineering or related
    • At least 10 years’ working experience with rich experience in project management and capital management
    • Fluent both written and oral communication in English
