Our Chevron New Energies organization is looking for individuals who have an entrepreneurial mindset and are passionate about growing lower carbon business in hydrogen, carbon capture, and offsets. We are focused on delivering solutions oriented around our customers’ needs.

The Product Owner (PO) simultaneously leads multiple Hydrogen agile teams, removing barriers and providing real-time decision making, to develop and commercialize new hydrogen opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region.  Opportunities will be pursued across the value chain, i.e., production, transport, storage, and delivery. Renewable and fossil-based hydrogen and ammonia are all in scope. The PO is accountable for product outcomes, customer value realization & fit, and strategic alignment within Chevron New Energies and the rest of the organization.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: 

• Stay aligned and attuned to customer needs and potential changes/impacts/trends in the product space (from product generation to delivery). 

• Own vision and roadmap for the product (update throughout entire life cycle), including both supply & demand aspects for the product. 

• Enable team delivery by enrolling the right resources, people, process, and technologies to deliver the product.  

• Manage, curate, and continuously prioritize product team's agile backlog to ensure optimal value delivery.   

• Deliver fast commercialization of product solutions, aligned with overall Hydrogen strategies, incorporating customer feedback and end-user needs.   

• Develops and communicates product acceptance criteria. Accountable for accepting the team's work.   

Required Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated commercial and/or technical experience in hydrogen products, to deliver product feasibility (from product generation to delivery), viability (ability to generate value), and desirability (delivering on real end-user needs) 

• Minimum 5 years product management, product development and/or equivalent project management experience 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Master’s degree in relevant field 

• 6+ years hydrogen product management and/or project management experience

• Experience with production of hydrogen from renewable sources

Relocation Options:
