This position will join the Digital Delivery team to provide platform specific or cross platform solutions and is accountable for the overall design, technology selection, and development oversight throughout the software development lifecycle. Looking for IT Architect who is comfortable working in an Agile environment with an evolving set of technologies, software languages and frameworks and is versed in software development, cloud, integration, cybersecurity, and DevOps practices.

Lead solution development for emerging technologies, owns technical decisions, defines governance processes, and aligns with business strategies and portfolio investments.
Analyzes technology environments, designs and creates solution architecture prototypes, leads/participates in technology selection and delivering business differentiating solutions.
Establishes a forward-looking vision for the product area, ensures quality technical delivery, reduces technical debt and drives modernization.
Coaches engineers to build with engineering discipline through mentoring and code reviews, leads architecture runway, and advocates for solid software development practices; testing, modularity, scalability, observability and integration.
Supports and fulfills new architecture and technology needs working closely with Platform Architect, Product Owners, business unit leaders, IT teams, and external vendors.
Skills Requirements
Strong experiences in the design, development and deployment of complex business systems, with focus on cloud-first, API-first and mobile-first solutions.
Practical experience in system and data modeling and integration to enable integrated business processes.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft technology stacks and deep knowledge of Oil and Gas domain are required.
Microsoft Azure solution stack (IaaS and PaaS) with proven ability to identify appropriate Azure service(s) to address business requirements.
.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, etc.
Web technologies (Angular, React, etc.)
Data Analytics (e.g. Azure Databricks)
API and Integration (e.g. Data Factory, API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions), custom web services (WCF and/or RESTful services), Swagger / OpenAPI
OAuth / OpenID Connect concepts
Source control, source control practices and Azure Repos (e.g. Git and GitFlow)
CI/CD processes (Azure DevOps pipelines, Ansible)
Code quality (unit tests, static and dynamic profiling, code coverage, code analysis, and automated tests)
SQL database
Agile Development: Knowledge of and ability to utilize formal agile methodologies, disciplines, practices and techniques for the delivery of new and enhanced applications.
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to articulate and influence various personas in the organization across disciplines, geographies, and time zones to gain commitment.
Interest in and ability to learn new technologies and techniques. Puts learning into action by modernizing applications through re-platforming, re-architecting, re-engineering, and automation.
Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and analytical skills to independently troubleshoot issues and deliver on results.
Hydrocarbon and related industry experiences a plus
