We’re looking for a product marketing leader with experience in go-to-market & product strategy, product launches, messaging/positioning, and pricing/packaging to build out the Product Marketing function and team. This role will report into the Head of Marketing, but will act as a strategic partner for product leadership and work closely with the C-suite, including our CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the team. Build an org that drives immediate impact but is built for scale. We have some rockstars on the team and need a leader who leads from the front and can serve as a coach and mentor..
- Strategic go-to-market. Be a strong partner for our industry and product teams to lead GTM strategy—get close to trends and customer needs, identify new target markets for Checkr, and build differentiated solutions as a partner to product leaders
- Messaging/ Positioning. We’re disrupting an industry and that requires us to change what and how buyers buy. Develop clear, relevant and easy to digest differentiation and value drivers. Build out industry messaging with SMEs in the industry team.
- Product launches. Build this muscle at Checkr— create buzz with product and feature launches. This industry is traditionally a services business with very little tech and we are the opposite of that—so there is a lot we can do here to generate excitement in the market with these launches. Also work closely with sales enablement to drive internal excitement and awareness.
- Content. Build world-class content to support demand generation and drive opportunities/ pipeline for the sales team
- Pricing & Packaging. We have a highly differentiated product that needs to be packaged and priced to our advantage. There is tremendous potential for a robust monetization strategy.
- Competitive. Partner with sales to improve win rates.
