  • Increased overall annual sales and increased sales and profitability from target programs
  • Improved student satisfaction survey scores
  • Increased annual voluntary meal plan sales, retail sales, and bottled beverage sales
  • Increased communication to clients and key partners
  • Chartwells brand, pillars and programs active in the campus dining program
  • Meeting of deadlines for major projects


  • Spearheads development of a measurable marketing plan that is followed, discussed, updated and measured regularly with management team; includes marketing budget and meeting budgetary goals
  • Measure ROI of dining marketing efforts and report results on a quarterly basis to DMM
  • Implement corporate, regional, and district initiatives in a timely manner as they are released
  • Timely execution of all collateral marketing and communication materials
  • Implement targeted meal plan marketing campaign to increase meal plan sales in the non-mandatory population as well as residential buy up; ongoing meal plan margin analysis and meal plan tracking
  • Push the sales of bottled beverages following the corporate, regional, and district standards as well as develop unit based campaigns
  • Work with retail director to implement and follow proper menu management, marketing zones, merchandising and impulse buys in all retail locations
  • Develop and implement a strong digital strategy that follows corporate, regional, and district standards and encompasses all relevant social media platforms
  • Support coordination and marketing of limited time offers, theme meals, special events and monotony breakers per Chartwells standards and ensure proper execution of intended initiatives
  • Maintain the DineonCampus website and ApponCampus to the Chartwells standards and ensure accurate and timely information
  • Ensure marketing and merchandising standards are met (conduct periodic marketing & merchandising audits in each location, share results with team, develop action plan and follow up)
  • Develop and conduct public presentations to students, parents and other campus constituencies at student orientations as well as other events as necessary
  • Complete OnSite Insight process once per year and student satisfaction surveys 2x per year or as agreed upon with client and implement successful action plan based on results
  • Direct and monitor the activities of marketing interns to ensure that their tasks and responsibilities are executed in accordance with established plan and timelines
  • Communicate with key clients and campus partners on a consistent basis to build relationships and support campus programming including completing quarterly partnership reviews
  • Assist with other accounts and on special projects as needed
  • Other marketing initiatives as assigned by client, District or Regional Marketing Director, and Chartwells RDM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Marketing preferred
  • Minimum of three years marketing experience with Higher Ed experience preferred
  • Ability to present to large groups
  • Knowledge of merchandising and promotions
  • Excellent writing skills
