Your Opportunity
In this role you will be joining a team of technical professionals supporting large-scale z/OS systems platform. This position requires an experienced systems programmer with at least 7 years of experience supporting the zOS Mainframe Network environment. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining the integrity and data/IP security of the Mainframe's host communication subsystems and associated program products.
What you are good at
- Acquire upgrades, install, test and migrate system software products in a highly available IBM Mainframe z/OS SYSPLEX multiple LPAR environment that utilizes JES2.
- Provide intradepartmental technical consulting for system and network related products
- Mentor and train personnel on z/OS data communication
