Pay range: USD $134,008.00 - $150,000.00 / Year

Job Duties: Design, develop, code, test, debug, document, and analyze current and future applications. Develop and modify REST and SOAP-based Web Service APIs in a transaction-processing environment. Design, configure, and troubleshoot APIs and APIGEE proxies while working in bi-weekly sprints following Agile. Utilize automated software test tools and frameworks, such as test-driven development, to achieve software quality standards. Create artifacts for each project, such as software architecture documentation, technical use cases, and code review packages. Provide support of highly available web applications. Implement requirements of the API layer, such as security, custom analytics, caching, logging, request and response modifications, and rate limiting, using APIGEE. Implement protocols for efficient version control of source code repositories and branching strategies using Git. Lead triage for critical issues, drive resolution of remediation items, and document results of investigations. Troubleshoot issues using monitoring tools such as Splunk. Perform maintenance of software, and correct defects that have been identified during the maintenance process. Develop well-designed, testable, and efficient code. Participate in various cross-domain integration activities, as well as update and patch software to ensure compliance with security requirements. Build and support Java APIs through the entire lifecycle, as well as review and approve pull requests. Develop proxies and API products in APIGEE with traffic management, mediation policies, security policies, Java callout policies, and various other custom policies.

What you have

Job Requirements: Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 36 months of experience in a related occupation. Experience must include 36 months involving the following: Java (8+), Spring, Spring boot, or Hibernate; Designing and implementing API solutions on Cloud platform including on Google Apigee; Implementing API security using OAuth, JWT, asymmetric encryption/decryption algorithms; Designing and coding REST APIs or SOAP webservices using: JSON, XML, or WSDL; Designing and developing event-driven microservices in the cloud; JavaScript; API debugging; Agile development methodologies and best practices; and Relational and document-based databases.

We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
