Paid Search Marketing Specialist

Your Opportunity The Specialist, Paid Search Marketing, will be an integral part of the search team which is responsible for paid search support across multiple lines of business at Schwab. This person will work with the Senior Manager, the Search Director and Search Agency to help develop and execute overall paid search strategy. As the paid search channel continues to grow year over year, this team is contributing more to Schwab's overall success. You will:

• Manage the day-to-day projects and operations for the Paid Search program as part of the Search Marketing Team
• Manage Project Lists and deliverables along with SEM agency
• Manage budgeting, accounting and search engine administrative tasks
• Help manage reporting and analytics for paid search including competitive monitoring and website tagging and tracking
• Manage work with agency and compliance group for ad copy and landing page approvals
• Work with Senior Manager, Paid Search and Search Director to develop overall search strategy

What you're good at
• Program or project management: a strong sense of organization, able to overcome potential project obstacles, and able to work with others to craft solutions
• Proficient in data gathering and analysis. Trending analysis, hypothesis development, and testing design.
• Adept at partnering with others to push projects forward - finding common ground, and able to negotiate solutions
• A great potential fit for this role would be someone who has existing paid search experience and is interested in program management on the client side
• Success will be measured by the specific outcomes of the projects/initiatives under this role's purview
• A day in the life would include 20% administrative work, 30% data analysis, 40% program/project management, and 10% innovation

What you have
• Overall 3-5 years of working experience, with at least 2 years' experience in digital channels marketing, preferably in paid search, organic search or display advertising
• Strong analytical skills - ability to interpret trends from large data sets
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
• Strong collaborator that can work with many partners to achieve an end goal
• Experience with analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics or similar) and/or search management platforms (Google, Adobe, Marin, Kenshoo) a big plus
• Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Marketing or other analytical focused program
