We are looking for a conversion optimization analyst to join our Digital Experimentation Team focused on A/B testing and experimentation. The Digital Experimentation Team (DXT) is responsible for supporting and scaling A/B testing across the Schwab organization to enable and leverage the power of hypothesis testing and statistical analysis as part of the digital process.

The DXT Analyst will play a critical role on the team to support increasing test volume and assist with program level statistical analysis. This person will apply their experience in statistics, optimization testing, and digital data analysis to validate hypotheses, define test metrics, and deliver insightful analysis of test results that inform immediate decision making as well as the iterative test roadmap. Additionally, the DXT Analyst will help with analysis of program metrics to shape an adaptive strategy.

What you're good at
  • Be an active participate in the design of experiments by applying your knowledge of statistics and data analysis to identify opportunities, inform rigorous hypothesis development, test metric identification, and calculate sample size based on appropriate MDL/MDE.
  • Use your Adobe Analytics skills to create and execute a monitoring process that provides real time visibility into performance of live tests and informs decision making.
  • Analyze and interpret raw data of completed tests and effectively tell the data story through statistical analysis. This will involve leveraging data in Adobe Analytics but may also include utilizing Splunk, SQL, and Python to assist your analysis and application of statistical models.
  • Make actionable recommendations based on test data, expose and capture customer insights, and utilize data that loops back into an iterative testing roadmap.
  • Conduct analysis of Schwab digital sites to help determine test suitability and test opportunities.
  • Work with a variety of business stakeholders to help them realize value through testing while onboarding them to test analytics best practices.
  • Establish strong cross-functional relationships to provide decision support and further the goals of the testing program.
  • Help develop and manage program level reporting metrics and reporting to inform stakeholders on program health while also identifying areas of opportunity.


What you have
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and methods gained through statistics education and/or experience.
  • Hands on experience with Adobe Analytics. Familiar with Workspace, creating segments, and manipulating data within Adobe Analytics for analysis and reporting.
  • 3-5 years of experience with digital analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience with A/B testing tools such as Optimizely or Adobe Target.
  • Experience in interpretive data analysis and ability to effectively communicate results and recommendations to a stakeholder audience.
  • BS/BA in related discipline, e.g. statistics, data science, mathematics, etc.
  • Familiar with enterprise analytics tools such as Python, Splunk, and SQL.
  • Relationship-building skills, including the ability to build consensus with key partners and work effectively in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Naturally inquisitive and curious who likes to solve problems with data; a critical thinker capable of working through ambiguity.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines, including interfacing with agile methodologies.
  • Digital experience experience strongly preferred.
