Create with VP, Sales, Regional VPs, Sales and Group President a Key Accounts strategy and implement it (Key Accounts represent $1Billion in External Sales). KAM will have the responsibility to drive the strategy through the sales organization. KAM will also create and direct, with VPs, Sales, the Groups National Builder strategy and support efforts in Metal Sales and other new channels and markets as required. Work in concert with the CertainTeed Director of National Builder Sales to help execute the CertainTeed builder strategy. Work with Marketing and R&D as required to support new initiatives.
30% - Set strategic direction, formulate and implement sales strategies and plans.
40% - Customer relationships---Distributors, Builders, Contractors (meetings, reviews, shows, customer incentive trips and outings)
15% - Maximize sales and profit potential through price management, customer programs and incentives, field sales strategies
15% - Administrative responsibilities such as internal meetings, pricing and customer incentives, special projects
__MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED__
College Degree and 5 years sales experience.
PREFERRED OR DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Problem solving, understanding of pricing and markets, people management skills, customer relationship skills (communication). The ability to execute effectively in a matrix environment.
40% to 60% travel
The ability to travel; set up and tear down trade shows and spend multiple hours in a standing position.
