Senior Technical Writer

Cerner is growing and currently looking for a Senior Technical Writer. As a Senior Technical Writer, you will have to design, develop and maintain enterprise and departmental product documentation. Also, you will have to design, develop and maintain user manuals, reference pages, help manuals. Your responsibilities will be to identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex documentation trends.Conduct competitive business study to understand the best approach to customer facing documentation, actively lead and participate in content strategy meetings.
In this role, you will have to lead discussions with internal teams on the timely delivery of documentation deliverables, lead and mentor others on processes, standards and best practice with the ability to influence at the team level. You also lead or participate in complex highly-visible documentation initiatives. You will be expected to author documentation and develop original content, reviews the documents authored by peers and help them identify the defects early in the documentation cycle. Additionally, you will be involved in evaluating engineering projects and their client impact to define documentation requirements and to facilitate reviews with subject matter experts across organizations and consult with solution partners or other clients. You will manage the complete documentation workflow and edit various forms of documentation and review for quality as needed.
• Bachelors degree or Business Degree or any Engineering Degree (BE or B-Tech)
• Certifications like TOFEL, IELTS would be an advantage
• Excellent Command over English both Verbal and Written
• Overall 2 to 5 years of experience in Product Documentation/Technical Writing in any reputed organizations
• People Management experience in the way of leading/Managing Documentation teams
