Job Description
At Cerner we are working at the intersection of health and technology. We create software solutions to support clinicians and healthcare professionals in hospitals and healthcare organizations worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Engagement Owner to join an exciting program across Västra Götalandsregionen for an integrated digital healthcare environment, replacing many existing IT systems to connect hospitals, primary care facilities and kommuner in one system. The new system includes a service to manage the health of their 1.6 million citizens and a modern digital care system that allows for increased patient participation, safer patient experience, and an improved work environment for healthcare professionals.
As a Senior Engagement Owner, you are a project manager that will oversee the business and installation process and working relationships while serving as the contact for client-based activities. You will be responsible for project planning, milestone management, and maintaining the project plan You will be part of the team that participate in risk assessment, value achievement, and delivery of the program.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in General Studies or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- 5 years of experience in project management work experience
- 2 years of Financial Management work experience
- 5 years of Health Care Information Technology or Support work experience
- Fluent inEnglish
- Proficient with Microsoft Project
• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
Expectations:
- Excellent communication skills verbally and written
- Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed
- Ability to travel when needed
