Job Description

Join our team as a PRN Registered Nursefor our on-site health center for a large,local employerinCovington.This health center has a proactive, educative approach where associatesand their dependentsare motivated to adopt healthy lifestyles and practices.

As a PRN Registered Nurse, youwill be responsible for treating acute, chronic, and complex disease management and promoting wellness and illness prevention through direct member care for all ages. This includes taking member vitals, inputting member symptoms into an electronic medical record, collecting laboratory specimens and administering immunizations/shots, within the scope of licensure. You will also prepare equipment, members, and physicians for office-based procedures and schedule follow-up appointments, referrals, and diagnostic testing.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in Nursing or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Licensed (unrestricted) as a Registered Nurse
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Primary Care or Urgent Care health center setting

Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Basic and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification
  • Electronic Medical Record Experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Expectations
  • Must reside in or near theCovington area
