Cerner Healthe Clinics are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for our World Head Quarters (WHQ) Campus in Kansas City, MO! Our Healthe Clinic is an innovative personal health management clinic that provides primary and preventative care services for the entire family. As the Clinic LPN, you will work alongside Nurse Practitioners and Physicians providing outstanding professional clinical care through everyday nursing care within the scope of their licensure. You will have Visit Navigator responsibilities which include providing telephone triage and case management services to covered health plan members, taking member vitals, inputting member symptoms into an electronic medical record, collecting laboratory specimens, administering immunization/shots, scheduling follow-up appointments, referrals and diagnostic testing, assisting with procedures and patient education. Phlebotomy experience is required.
- High School Diploma
- Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in MO & KS
- At least 2 years of work experience in a Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Primary Care or Urgent Care health center setting
- Current Basic and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification
- Electronic Medical Record Experience
- Ability promote wellness activities
- Phlebotomy experience
- Patient triage
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, overtime or irregular hours when needed
- Ability to travel and work at any of the four Cerner Healthe Clinic locations
- Must reside in or near the Kansas City, MO area
