Sr. Network Administrator, Global Infrastructure

Overview:
The Senior Network Administrator Network Administrator is a member of the IT team to support and maintain the internal IT systems and our Interactive Response Technology system (SaaS). This position will serve in a combination of network and system administration capacity to support both our SaaS and back office IT systems. We are searching for an experienced IT generalist with extensive experience in virtual Windows environments and strong networking skills, including firewalls and VPN, switching and routing.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Works with IT Team Lead on Infrastructure projects for the Cenduit Interactive Response Technology platform including environment builds and migrations
  • Provides guidance on best practices, performance tuning, and problem resolution
  • Conducts daily routine checks/maintenance on network and servers to include reviewing various logs (backup, Event Viewer, antivirus, etc.)
  • Assists with the efforts to manage and maintain Cenduit's Backup and Recovery strategy
  • Provides application support for Microsoft Office, Exchange
  • Monitors and administers IT Help Desk/ticketing system including job queue by acting as a level 3 escalation for IT Support
  • Work with IT Change Request process to ensure all changes are tracked and performed correctly
  • Responsible for support and administration of anti-virus/anti-malware solution
  • Maintains technical expertise in all areas of virtualization, storage, server hardware, and software technologies in use at Cenduit
  • Delivers high quality service in a fast-paced and demanding IT enterprise environment
  • Assists with the development and revision of Cenduit's IT Standard Operating Procedures
  • Participates in disaster recovery planning and conducts regular testing
  • Participates in IT On Call Rotation to provide mission critical 24x7 IT Support
  • Supports Data Center tasks including hardware installation, physical cabling, and rack wiring
  • Executes and Reviews IT Change Requests for the Cenduit Interactive Response Technology platform
Skills:
  • Cisco router/switch/wireless configuration, support and administration
  • Network security (IPS, Client/Gateway AV, Firewall)
  • Network integration with database (MS SQL) and application systems
  • Network monitoring and troubleshooting (connection, authentication, etc.)
  • Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 support and administration
  • Working within a help desk/ticketing software solution
  • Experience supporting and managing a virtualized environment
  • Experience supporting a SaaS
  • Experience supporting and managing a SAN (Storage Area Network)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Team oriented & flexible
  • Working as part of an on-call rotation
  • Ability to communicate and support teams across different geographic locations
  • Familiar with Cloud Computing Technology and Strategy
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum Associate's Degree in a computer, technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and certifications
  • At least 6 - 8 years' experience in Information Technology
  • IT Network and Systems Certifications preferred
  • Experience supporting physical and virtual servers in a data center environment preferred
  • Experience with Cisco Nexus and routing protocols is desired

Domestic and international travel up to 10% may be required.
