Cenduit is looking for an experienced product manager to act as the internal and external evangelist for a new product line. The position will report to the Director of Product Management and be a key member of the product management team.

The ideal candidate must be able to use data-driven processes and customers insight to determine initial MVP and mid to long-term product roadmap. This position will communicate with all areas of the company and work with engineering to define product release requirements, with marketing to execute on the go-to-market strategy, and spearhead a cross-functional team to operationalize the product. This position will be required to help develop and communicate the business drivers for different product initiatives and drive the creation of user stories and wireframe features as well as giving product demos.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Specify data-driven, market requirements for future products by conducting market research supported by on-going interactions with current and potential customers.
  • Particular experience in managing the definition and introduction of successful new products, similar to a start-up. This includes managing the early product lifecycle, familiarity with rapid prototyping UX methods and working effectively with members of the executive leadership.
  • Drive a defined product set across cross-functional teams (Development/Engineering, Sales/Marketing, Project/Account Management and Finance) through market requirements, internal user requirements, and product positioning.
  • Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute, for assigned products using standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to understanding the competitive landscape for assigned products, categorizing real or perceived strengths of Cenduit's competitors and a realistic assessment of how Cenduit measures.
  • Work with Cenduit Marketing to help communicate the target market/buyer, key product features and general positioning for assigned products.
  • Domestic and international travel up to 20% may be required.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required, ideally within Computer Science or marketing.
  • 2-5 years of Product Management experience in the enterprise software space, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • At least 2 years working within the life sciences, pharmaceutical or eClincal industry
  • Previous experience working closely with a software development organization and understanding of agile development principles are preferred.
