Principales Fonctions et Responsabilités:

  • Servir de point de contact unique du programme avec les médecins
  • Éduquer les médecins ou leurs employés sur les différents services offerts par le programme
  • Fournir des lignes directrices sur les traitements pour gérer les attentes du médecin en ce qui concerne le remboursement
  • Consulter les dossiers des patients pour remplir efficacement les formulaires nécessaires pour obtenir un remboursement
  • Aider les médecins à remplir les formulaires d'autorisation spéciale (AS), les formulaires d'inscription, les renouvellements d'ordonnances et d'autres documents
  • Faire des mises à jour régulières aux médecins sur leurs patients
  • Personnaliser les éléments de programme actuels pour répondre aux médecins sous sa responsabilité : adapter en fonction des besoins des médecins en clinique et à distance.
  • Déterminer les zones de risques et promouvoir une amélioration proactive et continue de la qualité.
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les autres membres de l'équipe dans divers rôles pour coordonner le parcours du patient
  • Participer aux réunions prévues du médecin avec les représentants commerciaux
  • Assister aux événements de formation continue en médecine et rapporter les nouvelles activités
  • Se rendre régulièrement dans les divers cabinets de médecin
  • Signaler les effets indésirables
  • Autres tâches connexes qui lui sont confiées

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Single point of contact for the program with physicians
  • Educate physicians and/or their staff on various program services
  • Provide therapy guidelines to manage physician expectations with respect to reimbursement
  • Consult patient charts in order to effectively complete necessary paperwork to obtain coverage
  • Assist MDs in completing Special Authorization (SA) forms, enrolment forms, prescription renewals, and other documentation
  • Provide ongoing updates to physicians on their patients
  • Customize current program elements to meet the needs of assigned physicians: adjust based on in-clinic and remote MD needs
  • Identify areas for risk and foster proactive, continued quality improvement
  • Work collaboratively with other team members in various roles to coordinate the patient journey
  • Participate in scheduled physician meetings with sales representatives
  • Attend Continuous Medical Education events and report new activities
  • Regular travel to various physician offices
  • Adverse Event reporting
  • Mentoring new FCMs
  • Assist when needed with the development of special initiatives
  • Assist & support the DM during teleconferences (sharing best practices, tips/tricks, topics to be assigned by DM)
  • Be a change management champion
  • Attend conferences' as an AbbVie Care representative or HCP and share the knowledge obtained with the team
  • Act as a lead on obtaining feedback from the team & finding solutions
  • Lead senior meetings; Send surveys to their respective roles and meet/discuss with DM afterwards
  • Act as a resource for the team - Be a leader & role model
  • Proactively identify issues and offer solutions / efficiencies to share with the DM
  • Adhoc duties as assigned

Expérience et Scolarité Requise:

  • Infirmière autorisée ou infirmier autorisé (IA)
  • Un diplôme dans un domaine connexe (pharmacie, sciences) ou des compétences équivalentes transférables peuvent être acceptables
  • Une expérience dans le domaine du remboursement public ou privé tiers ou de représentant pharmaceutique, des soins gérés ou du soutien clinique ou expérience connexe est un atout.
  • Le bilinguisme est un atout (obligatoire pour les postes au Québec)
  • Une expérience préalable de gestionnaire de cas est un atout.
  • Une certification de CFPC est un atout.

Compétences, Connaissances et Aptitudes Requises:

  • Aptitudes interpersonnelles et de service à la clientèle exceptionnelles
  • Capacité de gérer plusieurs tâches et priorités concurrentes
  • Compréhension de la terminologie médicale
  • Très bonnes compétences d'analyse et d'organisation
  • Capacité à analyser le volume d'inscriptions courant par médecin
  • Capacité à établir des liens avec un médecin et son personnel comme un ou une collègue de confiance et bien informé
  • Excellentes aptitudes de gestion du temps et des urgences
  • Capacité à collaborer efficacement avec les associés de programme
  • Capacité à travailler de façon autonome à distance
  • Capacité à communiquer efficacement oralement et par écrit en anglais et en français (oral et écrit) pour les postes au Québec et au Nouveau-Brunswick
  • Axé ou axée sur les résultats et les détails
  • Capacité à s'adapter aux changements ou à l'ambiguïté
  • Très bonnes aptitudes en information et connaissance de Microsoft Office
  • Capacité à assister aux événements de formation continue en santé avec les médecins, qui peuvent avoir lieu hors des heures normales de travail.
  • Détenir et maintenir un permis de conduire valide, non expiré et sans restriction et posséder une voiture
  • Respecter les normes de rendement et les procédures exigées par le programme
  • Avoir un bureau fermé réservé à cette fin où pourra être installé l'équipement fourni par Innomar Strategies

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Registered nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Bachelor's degree
  • Related degree may be considered (pharmacists, science degrees) or equivalent transferable skills
  • Experience in public or private third party reimbursement arena or pharmaceutical sales experience, managed care, or clinical support, or related experience an asset
  • Bilingualism is an asset (requirement for province of Quebec)
  • Previous Case Manager experience an asset
  • Basic CCPE an asset

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once
  • Comprehension of medical terminology
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze current enrollment volume by MD
  • Ability to engage with a physician and his/her staff as a trusted and well-informed medical counterpart
  • Excellent time management skills & sense of urgency
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with program associates
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and in both English and French (oral and written) for the Quebec and New Brunswick Provinces.
  • Detail and result oriented
  • Ability to adapt to change and ambiguity
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to attend Continuous Healthcare Education (CHE) events with HCPs, which may occur outside regular business hours
  • Hold and maintain a valid, non-expired, unrestricted driver's license and possess a car
  • Adhere to Performance Standards and Procedures required by the program
  • Must have a private, dedicated home office space that accommodates equipment supplied by Innomar Strategies
