Job Details
Cencora has an ongoing need for an experienced Health Economic Modeler to join its Market Access and Healthcare Consulting team based in Europe. This is a remote opportunity based in the United Kingdom.
Under general direction of Cencora senior leadership within Market Access and Healthcare Consulting, the candidate will direct and contribute to research and strategic initiatives including developing and/or overseeing high quality economic models, from model concept stage to final report and training, which support our clients' diverse global HEOR needs for their pipeline and marketed assets.

Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership on projects for multiple clients and/or therapeutic areas
- Responsible for strategic management of client relationships
- Actively contributes to the design and implementation of health economic models including cost-effectiveness models, decision models, and Markov models
- Researches, monitors, and reviews the global HTA landscape to support specific questions of interest
- Leads the development of proposals, including contracting and budget development, as well as client presentations that clearly convey the excellence of Cencora's services
- Ensures timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of all services
- Actively contributes to HTA-related communication initiatives (value dossiers, HTA consultations and submissions, literature reviews, economic models)
- Actively contributes to the design and implementation of global HEOR studies - from study concept stage to final report, including economic modelling, epidemiologic assessments, drug utilisation reviews, prospective or retrospective observational studies, burden of illness or healthcare resource utilisation studies, using varied designs and data sources
- Develops and / or reviews study reports and scientific publications (abstracts, posters, manuscripts)
- Supports goals for business unit / service line growth with inputs into innovative business expansion and / or new services
- Contributes to the recruitment, training, and mentoring of junior staff
- Demonstrates commitment to the organisation and inspires / mentors fellow employees

Education:
- A postgraduate degree (eg, MSc, PhD, DrPH, PharmD) in a relevant scientific discipline preferred, such as in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Services Research and/or a healthcare-related discipline.
Work Experience:
- The candidate must be able to demonstrate evidence of concrete experience in global HEOR and market access in an HTA environment.
Skills and Knowledge:
- In depth knowledge of HEOR and reimbursement (global and/or country specific HTA), with a demonstrated, higher level of specialisation in outcomes research, health economics and/or health sciences
- Strong knowledge of health economic modeling methodology (budget impact and cost-effectiveness models, decision models, Markov models, probabilistic sensitivity analysis, microsimulation), higher level of specialisation developing economic models for publication, HTA submission, and field deployment
- Broad technical capabilities with variety of economic modeling software including Excel
- Strong HEOR research skills to support economic modeling projects (literature review, epidemiology, data analysis and synthesis, indirect treatment comparisons, parameter distributions, etc)
- Knowledge of economic modeling guidelines (ISPOR, AMCP) and HTA submissions (eg, NICE, ZIN, AIFA)
- Ability to contribute to other Cencora service lines and business units, as needed
- Demonstrated success as a team player within a consulting environment or within the pharmaceutical industry
- Autonomous, structured, and well organized with excellent work ethic in a remote and virtual environment
- Strong analytical skills and detail orientation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate complex material in slide deck presentations, technical reports, publications, and discussions in a concise and efficient manner in English (additional language(s) are valued)
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop sound, long-term client relationships and provide compelling communications to internal and external stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies and healthcare industry, medical, market access and HEOR thought leaders, and academic institutions
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and produce high quality deliverables in a fast- paced dynamic environment while working on multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
