Description of Role

Dual role of project management, revenue generation and business development (70%); driving qualitative direction of the team (30%); $3M revenue generation target.
Actively supporting organizational strategy, innovation and implementation among qualitative staff
Training and developing current and new qualitative employees
Reports directly in to US CEO of Cello Health Insight

Purpose of Role

Contribute to the profitability of the group through the effective and efficient implementation, delivery and marketing of Cello Health Insight range of services and ad hoc projects
Improve organizational effectiveness of company business through development and deployment of learning strategies which develop high performing teams and individuals, enhance leadership, and drive a culture of excellence
Manage and grow existing and other US accounts
Advocate for US staff engagement, motivation and retention across the employee journey by working with senior management, L& D Director and HR to implement both L&D and broader HR strategies in line with overall company strategy and vision, specifically on the US qual research staff

Core Job Responsibilities

Develop and drive a strategic plan for the growth of the qualitative offerings in the US
Direct team leadership of all NY qualitative staff
Develop and manage the qualitative budget alongside CEO, President and Finance to identify how we track against financial goals
Senior methodologists and thought leader for Qualitative Research US
Work collaboratively with qualitative managers in other offices to ensure consistency and collaboration in development, management and progression of qualitative staff
Develop hiring plans for qualitative research based on sales / revenue alongside HR and Finance
Drive innovation through connectivity with other members of the Insight and Cello business
Oversee the recruitment and retention of qualitative staff
Work alongside Resourcing Manager to oversee staff utilization
Work with Client Service Directors on business development and revenue generation to identify core targets and appropriate utilization of resource against those targets
Partner with line managers and HR to evaluate staff performance and set future performance goals, raising concerns, as appropriate
Work with HR to support on-boarding process and continuing education
Attend conferences / competitive intelligence on qualitative offerings of other agencies to both identify gaps and drive innovation
Ad hoc projects as necessary

Competency guidelines

Ability to lead research projects from brief to delivery of final results with minimal input from other colleagues.
A strong track record at business generation – both with new and existing clients
Excellent facilitation, training and coaching skills
Strong research and project management skills
Effective in building rapport with senior leadership, and interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization
Strong influencing skills and ability to drive internal initiatives and gain internal buy-in
Strategic planning and project management skills with ability to coordinate people and resources
Ability to think commercially and creatively and work as a true partner with the business
Professional attitude and flexible consultative approach, with a real passion for learning
Expert knowledge and understanding of market research and the healthcare industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Up-to-date knowledge of current learning trends and e-learning development practices
Strong attention to detail in both written and verbal communication
Computer literacy – proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Approximately 30% travel
