Tax Reporting Director

We are currently seeking a Tax Director in our headquarter’sFinance Group.


  • Tax Accounting under ASC740: Toinclude reconciliation of tax accounts, analyzing permanent and temporarydifferences, managing the return-to-provision analysis, reviewing applicableincome tax payable account analysis and preparing income tax disclosures forfinancial statements
  • FIN 48 Analysis: Document allincome tax positions and determine which tax positions may be recognized. Prepare applicable financial statementdisclosures
  • Corporation Income Tax Returns:Manage all aspects of corporate income/franchise taxes, including managingvendors that support the tax return preparation process and preparation ofsupporting schedules and other analyses, as required. Responsible for accurateand timely filing of all returns and payments of taxes, as applicable
  • Assisting the Global Head of Taxin implementing global tax strategies involving corporate structure, transferpricing, M&A, and business transactions
  • Tax Planning and Analysis:Prepare projections of corporate taxable income/loss for tax planning purposes,as applicable. Determine tax impact of various business transactions and helpdevelop global tax strategies. Ensure all planning transactions are implementedappropriately, including reporting, compliance and audit ready documentation
  • Internal Controls and SOXCompliance: Responsible for ensuring that (i) properly operating internalcontrols exist and are adhered to in functional areas under this position’spurview and (ii) associated internal control documentation is prepared and/orupdated on a timely basis. Internal control documentation includes operatingpolicies and procedures, narratives and flowcharts
  • Provides supervision anddevelopment opportunities for associates by building a team-based workenvironment
  • Perform other duties assigned bymanagement
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited universitywith a major in Accounting with CPA and MST preferred
  • 10 years’ of federal and state income taxexperience. Big Four experience preferred
  • Must have demonstratedexpertise in ASC 740 and FIN 48
  • Ability to manage and supervisemultiple tasks
  • Expertise with Excel and Word
  • Experience with Taxstream andother software a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office software required(Access, Excel, and Word)
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment
