The Solutions Practice: Building a Consulting Practice within the Corporate Executive Board (CEB)

We are currently seeking a Solutions Business Development Associate (SBDA). As a SBDA, you will be part of a two-person sales team focused on generating and renewing business for the Solutions practice. An Associate’s time will be spent cultivating a membership pool through relationship sales and marketing initiatives, providing logistical and administrative support in pursuit of service and renewal goals, conducting qualitative analyses and creating presentation materials, and collaborating with team leaders to manage proposal timelines and deliverables.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

New Business Development

Contacting senior executives at Global 4200 organizations through both telephone and email efforts to generate interest and secure meetings on behalf of a Director

Generating presentations, proposals, and sales documents with the support of a Director

Account Management

Recruiting and retaining members to teleconferences and other marketing campaigns

Framing specific business problems and profiling companies that have successfully implemented solutions to these problems using our products

Scheduling activities with members, such as welcome calls, mid-year check in calls, on-site visits and renewal calls


Conducting market research and sales support

Creating company research profiles and core membership information


Supporting the Solutions team through other tasks such as coordinating meetings and teleconferences, preparing data and summaries for the team, and managing member requests.

Tracking all prospect interaction through an internal database to ensure accurate and consistent reporting and coordination

Monitoring and coordinating Solutions account activities with the appropriate CEB channels.
