Operations Specialist - Product/PS

We are seeking an entry level candidate who aspires to build a meaningful career with our growing consulting team in Shanghai. As a member of our team, you will be working with a local team of experienced consultants across China and Hong Kong and also be supported globally by some of the best and brightest I-Os in the field.

This role focuses on internal project management and data analyses. The individual will gain valuable experience working on talent assessment projects and contribute to the team's ability to help clients gain meaningful insights from their data. Talent assessment solutions has an intense focus on creating business insight and value through best practice methodology and data analytics, and this supportive role will be key to the groups success.


  • Execute on assigned talent assessment and analytics projects, including:

o Measuring the impact of Talent Assessment (i.e., Talent Audit, Functional Audit, Recruitment process improvement, etc.)

o Conducting data analysis and interpretation, running both qualitative and quantitative analyses

o Benchmarking analyze capabilities – internal and external facing data

o Supporting Consultants in the preparation of materials for delivery in client workshops and coaching sessions

  • Support Managing Consultant and Senior Consultants on more complex projects during different stage of projects, as requested
  • Aid in the project management of talent assessment projects, to help ensure projects are completed
  • Gather market trends and research for the HR industry
  • Develop best practices for, supporting the PS Consultant Team, designed to support their ability to effectively engage clients and design solutions
  • Work with the global Central PS team to help localize custom assessment solutions for clients
  • Use SPSS or Excel for data collection and analysis for projects
  • Use PowerPoint to help the PS Consultant Team draft executive briefing, client relationship, project plan, and resourcing materials and documents
  • Additional tasks and projects, as assigned


  • Approximately 1-2 years of experience, with a focus on data analysis and exposure to project management
  • Statistical analysis skills, intermediate level of using SPSS and Excel
  • Experience with using Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent writing skills in Mandarin
  • Strong reading skills in English
  • Strong time and task management as well as prioritization skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively both individually and in a team environment
  • Ability to analyze and present data clearly and efficiently


  • Advanced degree (Masters) in Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources or related area of study strongly preferred
