Operations Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity available within the Central Professional Service Operations Department for a Junior Operations Analyst. A key operations role in the heart of the Professional Service Business of Talent Analytics.

Main Purpose and Scope of the Job

A key operations role in the heart of the Professional Service Business of Talent Analytics to support Central and Local Professional Service Leaders to be effective in their roles.

Main Responsibilities:

oSupport Professional Service Leaders to make the Annual Budget Operational through modelling of resources and targets (delivery and pre-sales).

oDelivery of detailed reporting (on Business Unit, Project and Consultant level) to Local and Central Leadership Teams.

oAnalyse performance data to identify key trends, opportunities and problems. Define recommendations for corrective action and communicate this effectively to the Leadership team for discussion and agreement.

oParticipate or lead ad hoc improvement projects as and when required (e.g. reduce volume and ageing of Work-in-Progress backlog).

oAssociate Cost Management – support local leaders to optimise resourcing

oControl and forecast CPS budget, approving all costs and ensure cost effective purchases.

oEnsure that the Professional Services ‘community’ have the right level of business and operational support to be optimally effective in their roles (e.g. E2E Client Engagement Processes, PS Coupa Practices).

oIdentify and implement Best Operational Practices in both Central and Local Professional Service Businesses.

oE2E PS workflow support (processes, system changes, user enablement / helpdesk)

oSupport a smooth implementation of the new Workday PSA tool

Essential skills:

oStrong Analytical and Communication skills (verbal and written).

oResults driven achiever with Planning and Organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.

oFlexible Team Player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.

oNetworking and Problem Solving.

Education:

oBachelor’s degree in business or related field.

Experience:

oHas experience in a dynamic Professional Services environment

oIs a strong networker and communicator

oHas high analytical skills

oIs an advanced user of MS Excel

oHas affinity with IT systems
