Associate Client Advisor (WS&A)

CEB is seeking an Associate Client Advisor to join our team. Associate Client Advisors play an important role on the client engagement team and contribute significantly to the success of our projects. This position is responsible for executing on employee/organizational survey projects. Associate Client Advisors are challenged to understand clients' critical business issues and to quickly learn CEB best practices with regard to survey design and planning in order to problem solve for each client project. While daily responsibilities can vary, most Associate Client Advisors spend time working on different aspects of an engagement (or multiple engagements) with our clients. Examples of specific work an Associate Client Advisor may perform include: working in our proprietary platforms and tools, interfacing with internal technology and teams, managing to timelines and collecting and analyzing data, serving as a point of contact for clients during project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning: This position is responsible for executing primarily smaller scale projects or working on a team managing larger projects, related to employee opinion surveys. Collaborate with internal/external resources and team members to maintain project plans, scope and timelines, ensuring on time, and high quality deliverables to clients. Support project lead in monitoring project schedule. Monitor time spent on a project relative to the resource plan and identify discrepancies.

Client Management: Understand client specifications and ensuring these are appropriately set up in the survey and results reporting platforms and coordinate with other project team members and support staff (e.g., translations, technology, and production) as needed.Learn best practices with regard to survey design and planning with goal to grow into next level client advisory role. Maintain communication with project team on project status and risk points to ensure flawless execution. Ensure client satisfaction. Escalate service delivery challenges to manager and/or Project Lead.

Survey Preparation and Administration: Interpret project specifications and manage process/procedures for the set-up and administration of web and paper based surveys. Work with data in our proprietary platforms and tools; utilize CEB proprietary survey technology effectively and execute any key survey process as needed to fulfill project requirements.

Quality Control: Ensure the integrity of data by following quality control procedures. Follow risk management process and contribute on potential risk points. Document the process steps, project specifications and quality control procedures specific to the unique requirements of the project. Coordinate survey and report fulfillment - quality check and coordinate delivery procedures.

Best Practice Sharing: Participates in internal knowledge sharing and training sessions

  • BA/BS required.
  • 2-4 years post-undergraduate work experience, with experience at a leading strategy or management consulting firm preferred
  • Proficiency in preparing or managing/analyzing large data sets
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Ability to implement and troubleshoot changes and modifications
  • Excellent oral communication skills and strong writing skills
  • Ability to build relationships with client teams and key stakeholders
  • Accountability for tasks being performed and completed on schedule
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • SPSS experience, or ability to develop skills in SPSS a plus.
