Job Description Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR Director to join our growing, industry leading technology company to help drive our People Strategy. This role reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer.The HR Director works closely with executives, managers and the HR Leadership Team to execute talent and organizational strategies intended to attract, develop, and engage a diverse workforce. You will play an integral role in building, supporting, and continuously improving a high-performance culture in a rapidly transforming business.You will be the primary HR Partner for over 700 employees in several critical business units, including Products and Technology and Corporate Strategy, while managing a small team.
Job Duties
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Design and execute robust talent strategies using excellent judgment and data-driven planning with outstanding communications throughout.
- Serve as a hands-on leader consistently demonstrating deep expertise in day-to-day HR activities, while keeping a focus on strategic initiatives.
- Consult with and coach senior leaders on all people-related issues, including talent management, employee relations, team effectiveness and organizational design.
- Partner closely with HR Leaders, including your peer HR Director, to drive scaling and efficiency of talent initiatives across business partner teams
- Guide and develop HR business partners to ensure high level of generalist support and timely execution of key HR programs.
- Ensure HR processes (compensation, performance, talent review) are managed to a high level of quality and consistency, and issues and concerns are addressed with a strategic mindset.
- Partner with the people analytics function to identify trends and insights to inform talent strategies.
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset in all people-related activities.
- Proactively support organizational design changes to increase productivity and improve performance.
- Consult with leaders to identify systemic issues impacting engagement; partner with leaders and appropriate COE to address.
- Identify compression and market-driven pay issues and partner with the compensation COE to address.
- Contribute to a positive culture that fosters engagement and delivers an excellent employee experience.
- Develop and support feedback processes that align with performance metrics and strategic competencies; analyze results and identify the highest-impact opportunities for improvement.
- Provide direction, delegate effectively, and motivate others to create a highly engaged team and respected team.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or MA in business or HR-related degree preferred
- 10+ years' work experience in a mid-size or larger professional organization with a focus on products.
- 7+ years in an HR generalist function in roles of increasing responsibility and scope
- Three+ years of management experience
- Deep functional knowledge of employment and Federal law, employee development, compensation and talent processes
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
