Description:

Duties: Work as part of the CBSi Games division and assist with the design and production of motion graphics for our extensive range of Editorial and Original video programming. Create logo designs for various video programming. Lead the production of motion graphics for extensive range of editorial and original video programming. Demonstrate a high level of creativity and originality by contributing to creative brainstorms and ideation for design projects. Work with the Art Design Team to finalize designs. Apply story development, directing cinematogprahy, and editing to animation to create storyboards that show the flow of the animation and map out scenes and characters. Manage a graphic design project to deadline, and work with key stakeholders to assist them with drawing up complex briefs and graphics and guide them towards the best design solution. Publish show pages on site that include matching graphics to show package. Create basic designs, drawings, animation and illustrations for production. Script, plan, and create animated narrative sequences under tight deadlines. Ensure that our video assets are produced using a holistic design ethos that permeates our video output. Create designs and animations that are in line with our established look and feel. Hold weekly meetings with other design teams and give presentations to ensure the general look and feel of the design language represents the company. Ensure all designs created have same style language. Utilize computer software or tools such After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, some kind of 3D app (e.g. Cinema 4D, 3D Studio Max, or Maya. Responsible for animating and 3D modeling logos into graphic packages (into lower thirds, end slate, etc.). Produce assets for both VoD (Video on Demand) programming, as well as live productions. Design complex graphics and animation using judgment, creativity, and computer equipment. Make objects or characters appear lifelike by manipulating light, color, texture, shadow, and transparency, or manipulating images to give the illusion of motion.

Qualifications:

Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Graphic Design. Must have two years of graphic design experience. The two years of experience must include experience with producing assets for both VoD (Video on Demand) programming as well as live productions; After Effects; Photoshop; Illustrator; and 3D Application including Cinema 4D, 3D Studio Max, and Maya); Audio mixing using Logic Pro X; photography experience including shooting and editing in RAW with Lightroom; computer programming including C++, Java, ActionScript; coding for the web including HTML and CSS; desinging for web; and shot compositing including green screen lighting, keying and rotoscoping. Must successfully pass a background check.
