The Business Intelligence and Analytics team drives insight through analysis and reporting to enable CA’s leadership, both in Customer Success & Support and across the business, make informed decisions, drive business outcomes and measure success. The team’s role is to evaluate what is happening, why it is happening, and what we should do about it. Additionally, the team performs predictive analytics to help leadership address potential future issues before they happen.

As a Senior Principal Business Analyst, Global Customer Success and Support Analytics, you will be responsible for providing actionable business insights and analysis for our support organization across its multiple channels to the customer. Working with the spectrum of the management chain from support manager to the SVP level, you would understand the business and its drivers so that you can deliver and present reporting, analysis, and insights that are critical to operations. Deliverables might include: identifying drivers of customer satisfaction, cost reduction opportunities, productivity improvements, compliance to established procedures, revenue opportunities, product quality drivers, resource allocation modeling, and multiple pilot initiatives. Tools/techniques would include statistical analysis, text analytics, and predictive modeling. With these insights and analysis, you will create effective executive-level presentations that clearly provide for data based decision making with observations and recommendation for action. You understand the business and analytics, make the complex simple, communicate effectively, and know how to get things done efficiently, while juggling multiple priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, source, deliver, and communicate data based insights and analysis across a wide variety of projects, based on high level requirements, a broad understanding of the business and multiple analysis techniques.
  • Participate, manage and/or Lead project initiatives
  • Work and communicate effectively across multiple teams

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong analytical and modeling skills including the use of statistical methods and tools (e.g. R, Python)
  • Ability to translate stakeholder needs into requirements and deliver on those requirements in a timely, prioritized manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to deliver executive level presentations.
  • Curious about the business and analytics, a creative problem-solver
  • Understands the support business and its drivers and can identify/analyze data to provide insights for improvement across the business.
  • Ability to work across functions and management levels
  • Attention to detail
  • MBA and Data Analytics background preferred
