Director, Solution Sales

As the Director, Solution Sales you will be responsible to plan, execute, monitor, and direct the security sales team’s performance for the entire Japan region. Working with other internal sales teams and managers to ensure your team effectively drives and supports the solution selling portion of the sales cycle, so that CA security solutions are presented in a way to meet the customer’s and partner’s business objectives.
- Achieve the sales revenue quota for the security product sales team in Japan
- Lead solution sales staff (sales and presales) in acquiring knowledge of customers’ businesses, partner offerings, and the competitive landscape
- Identify targeted joint CA/Partner solutions to address customers need
- Help team members build and maintain relationships with senior executives and decision makers, taking the lead as needed
- Territory planning, partner enablement, forecasting, quarterly business reviews, individual performance management
- Ensure client satisfaction ratings and excellent customer service
- 10+ years’ experience in an IT/ enterprise software sales role
- Experience in direct sales, also some experience of working with partners
- Strong knowledge of the Security Software market (for example: Cloud Security, Authentication, SSO, IDM, etc.)
- People management experience (coaching, training, leadership, strategy creation)
- Native (or fluent Japanese), mid-level English
- Valid permission to work in Japan
