This position is in Cargill's food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Commercial Development and Enablement designer will be responsible for enabling the sales enablement strategy, in team with the other Commercial Development Managers. In this role, you will serve as a partner in developing and sustaining solutions that make our sales teams more effective and efficient through a mix of communication means and tools. You will be coordinating sales training, sales processes improvements, sales tools adoption and training management to enable increased engagement and effectiveness for our sales organization.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide end to end ownership of the sales enablement library and newsletter editing and publishing, including effectiveness and utilization measures.
- Lead and coordinate content curation initiatives with key business partners to deliver both internal and external insights towards Sales teams, including curating creative graphics or videos, as well as business, industry and customer insights for specific presentations, sales calls or internal business planning meetings
- Oversee the sales team training management and planning
- Coordinate customer communication, by collecting requests from internal stakeholders and following the communication process to ensure compliance and correct signoffs before communication goes out
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned - for example, lead projects where necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience designing and maintaining documents and presentation slide decks
- Minimum of three years of related work experience
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using content management tools
- Experience using customer relationship management tools
- Experience in marketing communications and effective sales activation programs
PRIOR BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCES
- Assist with content curation initiatives within the team to deliver both internal and external insights related to market, industry and consumer trends.
- Assist the sales team to create a sales coaching program for sales managers to ensure they have the skills, knowledge, processes and tools required to lead their sales teams effectively.
