Job Summary: VP of Business Development

The VP of Real Estate is a critical role in our Real Estate Sales team. With lead generation assistance from the Business Development Associates & Managers, the VP of Real Estate is the go to account manager for Captivate’s highest level clients. These clients include the highest level building owners and property managers in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, etc. You are an expert in our product and eat, sleep and breathe Captivate’s brand. You have excellent in-person presentation skills and have proven success in negotiation and closing business deals. If you enjoy the challenge of selling video media products to commercial real estate clients, this role is for you!

 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing an extensive portfolio of high-level accounts in your assigned territory
  • Developing a business plan and sales strategy for assigned territories that executes against a high-revenue growth imperative
  • Achieving and surpassing annual sales goals; including generating new business and re-signing previous clients
  • Developing and maintaining outstanding working relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Planning and executing against a revenue target for a portfolio of clients and prospects

 

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of strategic selling experience that includes getting senior level meetings within client accounts
  • Proven success working with high-level accounts and clients
  • Experience selling to senior-level or C-suite executives and an existing book of real estate clients/contacts (property managers, asset managers, etc.) is preferable
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and contract management skills
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • A demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated B2B relationships
  • Adept at building relationships at multiple levels within an organization
  • Expertise at representing Captivate in a compelling, strategic facet at outside events and trade shows
  • A willingness to travel and work on a high performing team of business development professionals
  • Passion for team development and mentorship of junior employees on the team
  • Bachelor’s degree
