As a Technical Product Owner in US Card, you will work on building and growing internal platforms and services to drive Capital One's data transformation. This position sits at the intersection of the Product and Tech worlds, giving you an opportunity to influence Capital One's key data priorities to serve the business while you learn and become an expert in the capabilities of cutting-edge open source data tools and frameworks.

In this role you will:

  • Understand the needs of data producers and consumers and translate them into concrete requirements for products to make their lives easier
  • Connect with other product owners across Capital One's data ecosystem, influencing their products and helping to create a more cohesive and user-friendly environment
  • Learn, understand, and shape the user interfaces around tools and services like Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and AWS as we facilitate their use by data producers
  • Serve as the conduit between user needs, technical capabilities, and engineering requirements, developing these into roadmaps and requirements for the Agile backlog of a development team
  • Develop, measure, and track metrics around the products you manage to gauge adoption, user satisfaction, and success

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or military experience

- At least 3 years of experience in digital product management

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

- MBA or Master's degree

- 3-5 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

- 2-4 years of experience in Agile product management
