Sr Risk Associate -Control and Requirements Coach

Job Description

Support the line of business in determining requirements applicability, developing operational definitions, identifying existing or new controls that control for the requirement, and identifying implementation actions needed to comply with the requirement. Accountable for PRIME data hygiene and operational definition change governance. Provide oversight to the adequacy and quality of controls that mitigate risks and requirements. Responsibilities include collaborating with Corporate Compliance, Legal and business partners; monitoring and consulting on the execution of control development and providing visibility to the health of the control and requirement environment by leveraging horizontal support functions and business partners. Identifies, initiates, and executes process improvements. Leads other associates, when necessary, and ensures best practices are executed by the team.


  • Actively participates in team oriented efforts
  • Managing multiple tasks independently to meet deadlines
  • Coordinating work between multiple areas and working on multiple projects simultaneously; leveraging/influencing business partners to drive results
  • Completing requirement and control documentation while adhering to the Enterprise Control Standard
  • Initiating and executing process improvements and leveraging other team members when appropriate
  • Triggering escalation processes when appropriate

Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
• 1 year of experience in Project or process management
• 1 year of experience in Presentation/Communication

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• 2 years of experience in Project or process management
• 1 year of experience in Risk Management
• 2 years of experience in Presentation/Communication
• 1 year of experience in Change management
