Senior Product Manager, Machine Learning and Data Transformation

We are transforming Credit Card Authorizations by leveraging the power of Machine Learning. Our team is called Auth IQ, and we're accountable for deciding if every customer purchase is approved or declined in the blink of an eye. Each day, we are making faster and better decisions on millions of customer transactions through powerful data-driven insights. We're constantly looking for new ways to utilize rich data, powerful models, and flexible rules engines to deliver a world-class purchasing experience. We need rigorous, business-savvy, and technically-minded product managers to join us along the way.

We are an Agile organization that's light on process, but big on value. In this role, you'll develop a strategy for great monitoring and controls to make sure our Authorizations platform is strong and lead a team to implement it. You'll lead a team that makes sure that each of our millions of daily real-time Authorizations get the right decision. You'll also work closely with our tech teams and business partners to leverage machine learning to proactively identify insights across business outcomes, customer experience and system health.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with intent owners and partner teams to strategically deliver an overall roadmap to support views across Authorizations
  • Work with our product manager community on broader strategy, align dependencies and releases for related products, and contribute to the best practices of our product team
  • Define and report on key delivery and value metrics
  • Creatively and iteratively deliver value that minimizes uncertainty and mitigates risk
  • Lead and develop team of process managers to strengthen our controls and support regulatory, audit, and compliance activities

Characteristics we're looking for:
  • A bias toward action and a proven track record of delivering minimum viable products and business models to market at rapid speed
  • Ability to proactively identify impediments on the critical path and remove them
  • Excellent communication skills to engage an organization of multiple specialties, and tell compelling stories with ease to senior executives
  • A structured problem-solving approach to help a team work through a wide range of issues
  • Intellectual curiosity for emerging technologies and compliance challenges
  • Ability to prioritize across different types of value dimensions
  • Ability to actively seek out multiple opinions, yet make independent decisions and influence positive outcomes

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of leading teams
  • At least 1 year of working in an Agile methodology

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Process Engineering, Operations, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in implementing control frameworks, shipping product, or managing risk
  • Strong customer-focused design
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Program management experience
  • Experience evaluating in-market performance of delivered product
