Sr. Procurement Specialist

Job Description:

To deliver cost effective solutions through supplier sourcing, negotiation, contracting and supplier performance management for Capital One Philippines.

Major Responsibilities:

Contract negotiations and/or overall contract management is a must have

Conducts sourcing on a per need basis and secures best source for providers in Work Place Solution (WPS), Information Technology (IT), Human Resources (HR) and Professional Services (PS).

Negotiates with selected suppliers to achieve Best-in-Class commercial terms on cost, delivery lead time, payment items, warranty, and Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Administers standard corporate contract terms and conditions with selected suppliers to ensure compliance in commercial and legal obligations; liaises between supplier, Legal, and Line of Business (LOBs) to ensure parties are in agreement on the contractual language, content, and metrics

Monitors and reviews SLA and performance management with suppliers and LOBs as a basis for contract renewal or termination

Handles Stakeholder Engagement through several LOBs being supported.

May be assigned / rotated across related sub-functions including but not limited to sub-functions within Shared Services

All other job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time

Job Specifications/Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • College degree

  • Professional Experience:
    • 5 years work experience (BPO/Shared Services Procurement experience)

  • Skills Required:
    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
    • Good negotiation skills
    • Good attention to detail
    • Stakeholder management
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Northgate, Alabang.
  • Applicants must be willing to work on a mid-shift schedule.
