Sr. Manager, Internal Communications Strategy

As the leader of the Communications function for all Digital associates, you will be responsible for leading and driving effective, engaging communications strategies that advance our culture, as well as inspire and enable our associates and executives. As part of a collaborative team of communicators and brand marketers, you'll ensure that Digital products, programs and leaders are elevated throughout the Capital One and the Tech ecosystem.

  • Establish an integrated communications strategy and detailed annual plan with a focus on talent, culture and learning strategy and executive positioning
  • Collaborate and partner closely with cross-functional partners to implement a range of strategies and creative solutions to reach key target audiences
  • Apply user-experience design methodologies to create breakthrough, integrated experiences for our associates
  • Lead a data-driven approach to engage associates
  • Lead internal marketing communication campaigns and projects
  • Advance our internal communications Digital platforms and communications strategies
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional partners and teams
  • Partner with brand marketing, corporate communications and community affairs to build a Digital brand through awards, conferences, events, outreach, etc.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 7 years of experience leading public relations strategy or at least 7 years of experience leading communications strategy or at least 7 years of experience leading marketing for large organizations
  • At least 2 years of writing experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's of Business Administration, Master's in Marketing, or Master's in Communication
  • 4+ years of Public Relations or Internal Communications leadership experience
  • 1+ year of Public Relations or Internal Communications leadership experience in the technology industry
