Sr. HR Associate - Recruiting Quality Assurance Team Lead

As a Sr. HR Associate in Human Resources at Capital One, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for partnering with the larger recruitment organization to continuously improve our processes and candidate experience via stewardship of Talent Acquisition's quality assurance program.Organizationally, this role resides within the larger Risk & Quality Management team in Talent Acquisition Shared Services and will interface directly with both internal clients in Talent Acquisition leadership, as well as external partners in Legal, Compliance, Diversity & Inclusion, and HR's Business Risk Office.

The qualified candidate selected for this role will be accountable for holistically leading the quality assurance function within Talent Acquisition and responsible for not only the day-to-day management of the team and its 4 supporting associates, but also partnering with leadership to set the strategic vision for the function and continuously improving its supporting processes, platforms, and talent.

Day-to-day functions for the team include, but are not limited to, performing quality assurance reviews of job requisitions and offers of employment, performing trend analysis on the results of the reviews, providing effective/measurable feedback to recruiters based on their findings, and both developing and improving controls to prevent future process breakdowns.

Responsibilities:

-Oversee the completion of recruiting-specific quality assurance reviews (e.g. job requisitions, offers of employment) to assess process performance and health

-Support the team in the analysis of QA data to identify performance trends and insights

-Leverage trends and insights to identify root cause, then develop and deploy recommendations for remediation to leadership

-Partner with stakeholders (e.g. Legal, Diversity, Compliance, Business Risk Office) to ensure quality assessments remain aligned to internal and external requirements and standards

-Maintain suite of training materials, process documents, and help files

-Develop and continuously improve internal control measures (e.g. performer calibration)

-Liaise with leaders across the organization to improve overall risk awareness and improve departmental compliance

We are looking for individuals who can effectively manage multiple tasks autonomously and with high quality, excel in a matrixed, cross-functional team environment with multiple stakeholders, have strong communication and influencing skills, can proactively identify and solve problems, and possess the ability to adapt to change quickly.

Basic Qualifications:

-At least 1 year of risk management experience

-At least 1 year of people management experience

-Experience in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

-At least 3 years of risk management experience, ideally in human resources

-At least 3 years of people management experience

-At least 1 year of process management experience

-At least 1 year of talent acquisition experience

-At least 1 year of quality assurance experience

-Working proficiency with Salesforce

-Working proficiency with Tableau

-Certified in Lean or Six Sigma
