Sr. Associate, Commercial Card Sales Enablement - Richmond, VA

SUMMARY

The Commercial Card business is looking for candidates to support its Lead Generation and Prioritization team, which is responsible for empowering the Sales team with a prioritized list of quality leads with higher spend potential and low credit risk.

An ideal candidate will operate in a highly visible, high-stakes, fast-paced agile team, executing lead, territory and roster management activities. They will consistently, and with high quality, respond to queries from field sales managers and provide outstanding support to drive the teams' success.

An ideal candidate will be highly flexible, able to adapt to change and willing to work in white space to deliver insights and build infrastructure that doesn't currently exist. The ability to influence decisions through effective written and verbal skills is vital to the role. Works autonomously to refine and execute the process once it is developed.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data-proficient self-starter who enjoys leveraging data, metrics and insights to drive results and learnings
  • Processes leads originated through our web channel performing checks and controls on leads and routing them to appropriate sales managers
  • Tracks and processes referral submitted from other business lines and external partners
  • Manages email opt outs until automation
  • Re-assigns leads and in-flight deals/opportunities of offboarded sales managers
  • Supports territory management activities, running standardized reports as necessary
  • Manages access to sales tools (onboard / offboard new sales managers) and performs certain maintenance tasks
  • Monitors and reports sales tool utilization and develop strategies to increase utilization
  • Manages a mailbox to research and resolve a wide variety of issues and queries from the sales team (process clarifications, lead disputes etc.), using independent judgment to autonomously resolve standard requests and escalating where necessary
  • Identifies issues that impact lead/territory management activities
  • Liaison to other business areas, such as Tech, Sales Data Control and Access Central
  • Supports monitoring, reporting, testing and delivery of projects within the space
  • Supports training initiatives drafting documentation for processes etc.
  • Able to influence customers cross-functional teams, to push back when appropriate
  • Flexible and detailed-orientated, capable of handling multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities simultaneously while maintaining excellent and accurate work

REQUIREMENTS

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Military Experience
  • At least 1 year of business- to- business (B2B) sales experience


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree
  • At least 2 years of B2B sales
  • At least 1 year of experience selling a commercial card product
  • At least 1 year of experience with Salesforce CRM
  • At least 1 year of experience with lean/agile methodologies
  • At least 1 year of process management or operations experience
  • At least 1 year of experience executing a time-critical high stakes process with quality control rigor
  • Understanding of the commercial card sales process
  • At least 1 year of programming language experience
