Still founder-led by Chairman and CEO Richard Fairbank, we dare to dream, disrupt and deliver a better way for our customers, the financial industry and for each other. Our goal is simple - bring ingenuity, simplicity and humanity to an industry ripe for change.

At DataLabs, Capital One India, we solve fundamental business problems at scale using advanced analytics, data science and machine learning. DataLabs is looking for experienced business analysts to drive our foray into autonomous and intelligent data products that solve the full gamut of business and analytical needs. This role involves working with DataLabs leadership and lines of businesses in our Financial Services division to understand contemporary business needs, making impactful and actionable offers in partnership with specialist teams in DataLabs, and driving end-to-end execution of initiatives. The role will be part of an exceptional team that is drawn from elite campuses in India and abroad, and focused on our mission to develop world class data products.

At DataLabs, you will work in a fast paced and intellectually rigorous environment. You will apply strategic and analytical skills to major business challenges. We bend backwards to take care of one another through thick and thin. Our work and the people we are surrounded by are an enduring source of strength and fulfillment in our lives.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Analysis: Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using business, statistical and data analysis to make strategic recommendations

- Product: Conceptualize and develop world class data products that typically leverage Machine Learning applied on structured and unstructured data

- Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity: She/he should be a tenacious problem solver with good judgment and an open-minded approach. One who pushes the envelope but is rooted in ground reality

- Strong communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communications, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills

- Clear results orientation: Display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. She/he should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment
