Senior Systems Analyst, Capital Markets and Risk

The Treasury Product Management team, a subsection of Treasury that falls under Capital Markets and Risk, consists of Product Owners and analysts for our Treasury systems who are passionate about creating a simple, well-integrated and intelligent platform that enables superior decision making and best in-class execution, operations and risk management for the Treasury department. Working back from business imperatives and internal customer needs, we lead Agile teams to implement new products for the Treasury team, develop new capabilities and deliver high quality data.

We are looking for a senior systems analyst to work with the Product Owner and Agile team in delivering cloud based solutions for the overall business intent through close collaboration across internal partners. This role will be responsible for leading the necessary customer interviews and analysis to ground the problems to be solved, running impact analysis, and working with Agile teams to define, test and implement solutions. The senior systems analyst will also be responsible for delivering and ensuring the integrity of all data changed or produced as a result of any new intent delivery.

General Responsibilities:

-Lead customer interviews and analysis to determine and ground the problems to be solved

-Develop empathy and understanding of current data and process challenges

-Translate between business requirements and technology specifications - in both directions: top-down and bottom-up

-Lead the implementation of sound data management practices such as metadata management, lineage capture, data quality rules development and monitoring as part of data consumption or data publication

-Own configuration changes needed within Treasury's systems

-Manage inter-team and technology dependencies to mitigate project and product risks

-Develop and nurture collaborative working relationships with key internal partners including business teams, various product teams, and enterprise technology organizations

-Own the integrity of the solution through customer acceptance and deployment

-Support the Product Owner in prioritization, road map development and test coordination

Ideal candidate has:

-Proven track record in balancing consumer outcomes, business requirements and technical feasibility and delivery

-Large scale relational database, data lake, data warehouse experience with a strong grasp of SQL, to access, analyze, and visualize data

-Passion for ensuring data access and handling is in stringent accordance to financial compliance regulations

-Effective communication and interpersonal skills

-Self-starter with demonstrated critical thinking skills and creativity

-Experience in Python or open source coding languages, Agile or work experience as a CICD practitioner, and experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering or military experience

-At least 2 years of experience with SQL
-At least 1 year of experience working with AWS
-At least 1 year of experience in product management

Preferred Qualifications:

-MBA or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering

-3+ years of data analysis, SQL, Python experience

-3+ years experience with AWS

-Experience with Capital Markets, Treasury, and COLLINE
