Senior Software Engineer - Robotics Process Automation (RPA)

We are standing up a Intelligent Process Automation team for by harnessing the power of automation tools, along with APIs and other technologies, to improve the lives of our associates. We are changing the way our employees look at automation - building software robots (or 'bots!) to free up our associates time to focus on higher-value work, while also reducing risk.

In this team, you will

  • Work as an agile team to design, configure, and implement rapid prototypes, which will be used by lines of business to automate manual tasks.
  • Understand business processes, assess automation readiness and recommend solutions to automate a part or the whole business process.
  • Design, configure, test, deploy and maintain reusable automation scripts and frameworks designed to replicate manual administrative processes
  • Learn, be inquisitive, and be technically curious, with a passion for emerging technologies (ML, NLP, RPA, API's, and AI), their capabilities, and how they are used to empower business and technology to drive business simplification.
  • Focus on DevOps practices and tasks, as well as related internal governance processes

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development or test automation

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile or Kanban process
  • 2+ years of experience in building automation frameworks and configuring RPA tools like Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UIPath, or WorkFusion
  • 2+ years of experience working with cloud-based automation tools such as AWS, or Salesforce
  • 1+ year of experience managing the required AWS infrastructure for automation software.
  • 2+ years developing web-based solutions using HTML, CSS3, JavaScript,NET, or SQL
