Your designs thoughtfully solve problems. You're excited about creating mobile experiences that people will actually use - and enjoy. You know how to leverage and advocate for the unique interaction patterns of iOS and Android; and you're not afraid to try something new to raise the bar where it makes sense for the customer.

Mobile and Interaction Design

-Strong interaction design skills (patterns, flows, architecture, experiences)

-iOS and Android interaction patterns

-Early stage development through launching, maintaining, and improving apps

-Mobile prototyping at different fidelities (lo-fi to interactive)

-Previous success launching mobile features

Process & Methods

-Strong human-centered design focus

-Familiar with the design double diamond

-Comfortable with design research process and methods

-Ability to translate research insights into solutions

-Knowledgeable of various design methods

-Full product lifecycle experience

-Comfortable working in sprints


-Expertise in various mobile prototyping tools

-Sketch and InVision experience

-Familiar with journey mapping

-Love of Sharpies and stickies


-Advocate for customer and business needs

-Good storytelling skills

-Strong facilitation skills

-Great visual communication skills (from drawing to digital)


-Thrives in multidisciplinary environment (product, data, tech, design, legal)

-Comfortable developing product strategy, vision, and direction

-Ability to execute designs with engineers

-Partners with designers to ensure consistency and foster creativity

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or military experience

- At least 5 years working in experience design or user experience

- At least 3 years of hands-on experience designing mobile apps (including native)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Design or Human-Computer Interaction

- 6 years of experience with UX design for digital products

- 6 years of experience with information architecture

- 6 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite

- Proficiency with Sketch and InVision
