The Enterprise Products & Platforms Risk Office mission is to help enable the Enterprise Products and Platforms business to deliver innovative products and services to our customers in a well-managed way.

We are looking for a passionate and seasoned leader who has an extensive background in risk and product management with a strategic mindset for delivering a human centered approach to managing risk. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the risk profile of the Enterprise Products & Platforms (EP2) department.

EP2 manages and develops some of the most cutting edge products and platforms in the financial industry from the development of our best in class mobile app to our Capital One intelligent assistant. You will work closely with EP2 and Enterprise Services Risk leadership to support the delivery of new digital initiatives as well as the development of governance around existing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of risk guides
  • Develop and execute the EP2 risk office vision and deliver on enterprise and team objectives
  • Manage the New Product, Marketing, and Initiative Governance (NPMIG) risk assessment process and provide consultation risk management consultation to lines of businesses and staff groups
  • Develop and deliver senior level risk management reporting and communications
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and leaders across multiple organizations to achieve strategic objectives
  • Coordinate program-related activities and deliverables to ensure effective collaboration within the team and across stakeholder groups
  • Continuously look for ways to improve and innovate in our approach to risk management.


BasicQualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • 5 plus years of experience in risk management, compliance, regulatory, audit, or legal


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • At least 7 years of experience managing people
  • 5 plus years of experience at a start-up or technology company
